In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Most Merciful.
Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
All praise to Allah SWT, the sustainer of this world. Selawat and Salam towards Prophet Muhammad SAW with a peaceful remembrance towards his effort and strength in bringing Islam until we’re living as a Muslim with a sweetness of faith nowadays.
First and foremost, thank you and my apology to all of you, because there wasn’t any official speech been made after the winning of SRC been announced lately.
Time is flowing very rapidly until now the new representatives have been changed. The impact from SRC‘s tenure before that been leaded by Brother Aklil Ayob and Sisters Siti Khadijah Imam Supaat, still been felt until today. Congratulations to them for performing this amanah well.
At this great opportunity, I would like to express my gratitude to Allah SWT for giving me a chance for being selected as a representative for this kulliyyah, Kulliyyah of Science together with Sister Siti Aminah Muhammad Imran. Indeed, this is really a tough job and required so much effort and responsibility to run this amanah wisely. This clearly been stated in al-Quran in surah al-Ahzaab, verse 72;
Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.
As a human being, I cannot avoid from doing any mistake. Thus, I ask you humbly to guide and correct me if I go wrong. Your voice is truly my highest concern, as this job really requires a tremendous effort, help and support from all of you to make the changes towards the betterment in our beloved university. Realizing that student’s power is really reliable and have such a powerful impact towards changes; I hope that we (Students, SCIENCESS, Administration of KOS and SRC) could collaborate together towards the betterment of IIUM especially for Kulliyyah of Science.
Lastly, I hope that all of us can synergize together in bringing up our university into the next level and makes our lives becomes better in this campus, guided with al-Quran and the light from Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
